**The Position**

**St John of God South East Melbourne (SEM) **includes 3 hospital facilities, Berwick Hospital, Frankston Rehabilitation Centre and the newly opened Langmore Centre in Berwick.
- We are currently seeking a committed and enthusiastic
- **Maintenance Officer** to provide day-to day engineering activities and maintenance services for St John of God South East Melbourne; ensuring compliance requirements and designated timeframes are met.
- The Maintenance Officer will ensure a safe, comfortable and attractive environment is maintained and consistent with St John of God Health care policies and complies with necessary statutory regulations and legislation.
- This position will be offered on Casual basis
- Experience in health care maintenance and/or a trade will be viewed favourably but is not essential

- Previous experience in a similar role and the ability to undertake general handyperson duties and minor repairs
- Victorian Drivers Licence and own car
- Willingness to travel as reasonably required between SEM sites
- Must be available for on-call after hours roster on a rotational basis
- Good interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal
- Effective as a member of a small team
- Ability to work and think proactively
- Ability to work efficiently in an unsupervised environment
- Good customer services skills
- Computer skills, proficient in the use of standard office software packages and engineering works management software.
