**Drinks Specialist | Dan Murphy’s - Martin Place Cellar | Premium Customer Experience** "A meal without wine is like a day without sun", Never truer words have been stated says our Drinks Specialists whose purpose is to provide knowledgeable, helpful service with a smile to customers who are looking for that something special, or who might just want help to find the products they know and love. - **A wine lovers dream role specifically targeted to wine lovers** - **Lifestyle friendly hours** - **Competitive salary with amazing staff benefits** Reporting to the Store Manager and joining a National Community of Drinks Specialists, in this specialised role you will share your expertise with customers and team, helping our customers discover a world of drinks experiences.Our newest cellar store, located in Martin Place in Sydney is due to open later this year. **The role**: - Actively engage customers in an authentic way in store, sharing product knowledge and providing end to end service. - Work collaboratively with the store leadership team in setting up and facilitating customer events. - Advocate for My Dan’s loyalty by engaging with customers to understand benefits and product offerings. - Assist in developing the product knowledge of team members in the store. - Undertake a variety of instore tasks, including customer service and inventory tasks as well as duty management. - Contribute to store sales planning processes by sharing your specialist product knowledge and recommendations on product lines. **The YOU**: - **YOU** have strong product knowledge in wine, with good knowledge of other categories (spirits / beer) - **YOU** have proven experience in hospitality, sales or retail in a drinks related role, or vintage / harvest / drinks production experience would be well regarded - **YOU** love to share your knowledge with others in a genuine and authentic way. - **YOU** are available to work in peak trading hours, with part-time and full-time opportunities available - **YOU** will have a current RSA certificate, or willingness to obtain one. Whilst your core knowledge is wine, you also have knowledge of spirits and beer categories and a desire to continue your learning journey in this space. **About Dan Murphy's** In 1952, an ambitious and plucky upstart opened a liquor store to rival his father's. You might have heard of him. His name was Daniel Francis Murphy, and he did things a little differently. Dan launched Australia's first wine club, threw storied social events and introduced his guests to exciting wines from all over the world.
