Procurement Officer

Working with the Procurement Manager, this role will be actively involved with reviewing and actioning forecast requirements, department reporting and engaging with all key stakeholders
As our Procurement Officer your responsibilities will include,
- Maintain proactive and professional relationships with suppliers.
- Assist in the development of systems and procedures to ensure that purchasing is carried out in a timely manner to ensure production is not interrupted.
- Identify and ensure all purchases meet fit for purpose and are cost effective
- Ensure all audit requirements are complied with.
**About you**:
- Previous experience in a similar role in FMCG or processing industry
- Ability to work under pressure and be able to priorities tasks
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the business
- Highly developed computer skills (MS Office, Oracle, SAP) coupled with strong administration and reporting skills.
