**Your new role**
As a **Student Fees Officer**, you will play a vital role in managing and supporting the financial aspects of student enrolment. You will deliver specialised fee services within the Student Administration and Fees Unit. Your primary focus will be providing high-quality, customer-oriented support to students, university staff, and external stakeholders, ensuring they receive accurate information regarding their financial obligations and services related to student fees.

**In this role, some of the key areas you will be responsible for are**:

- The reconciliation of student fee payments, e.g., investigating and rectifying lost payments.
- Providing timely and accurate advice regarding student fee structures and student eligibility for HELP Loans.
- Assisting students with completing relevant commonwealth assistance loan forms.
- Assisting students with financial hardship queries and escalating potentially complex or sensitive cases for further review.

To be successful in this role, you will have an analytical mindset and enjoy problem-solving with numbers. You will also have intermediate Excel skills with the ability to use formulas to find anomalies in data sets and pivot tables. Prior demonstrable experience in debtors management and knowledge of student admission and enrolment processes will be highly regarded.
- As this is a fixed-term contract, you will require current work rights in Australia that match the tenure of this role. _**_Please note:_**_ Relocation and sponsorship support will not be provided for this position._
