**The Position**

This company has a rare opportunity to joint their ranks in a** Transport Allocator **role, primarily working with **LCL and Airfreight**, based from the corporate headquarters in **Botany, NSW**.

This role is working a shift of **Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm **(with scheduled breaks)

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective movement of goods by coordinating with various stakeholders, including carriers and warehouse teams. The main responsibilities include:

- Scheduling shipments based on available space, customer requirements, and transit times.
- Collaborating with carriers to secure bookings and negotiate rates.
- Tracking and monitoring shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Proactively addressing any issues or delays.
- Optimizing shipment consolidation to maximize container utilization and minimize costs.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of shipment details.
- Implementing and adhering to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

- Ability to work autonomously and with within a team
- Problem solving skills
- Minium2 years' experience in a similar role
