YOUR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

FLEET AND DISPATCH MANAGEMENT Allocate trucks and drivers for deliveries, optimizing routes and ensuring maximum fleet utilization.

SCHEDULING AND COORDINATINGManage driver schedules, coordinate equipment hire, and ensure timely delivery of goods to meet deadlines.

CUSTOMER COMMUNICATIONLiaise with customers to provide updates on freight status and manage their expectations for delivery.

CHAIN OF RESPONSIBILITY AND SAFETY COMPLIANCEEnsure compliance with fatigue management regulations, vehicle maintenance, and other safety procedures.

RECORD KEEPINGMaintain accurate documentation, logs, and other paperwork related to transport operations.

PROBLEM SOLVINGAddress operational issues, manage incidents or near misses, and proactively solve logistical challenges.

STRONG ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLSAbility to manage multiple tasks and maintain focus on priorities in a fast-paced environment.

EXCELLENT COMMUNICATIONClear and proactive communication with customers, drivers, and internal teams.

PROBLEM-SOLVING ABILITIESCapacity to identify and resolve logistical issues efficiently.

KNOWLEDGE OF TRANSPORT REGULATIONSUnderstanding of relevant safety and transport regulations, such as fatigue management and CoR.

IT PROFICIENCYAbility to work with and manage integrated IT systems used for logistics and transport.
