One of Australia’s leading **Federal Government Departments** is looking to engage a skilled and experienced **Agile Delivery Manager** to join their multidisciplinary team based in their **Canberra Office**. The successful **Agile Delivery Manager **is accountable for the effective management and oversight of the output, productivity, and performance of the section. The successful **Agile Delivery Manager **will secure a **14-month contract **with **2 x 12 -month** **extension options** with a **rewarding pay rate with working from home arrangements**

The successful **Agile Delivery Manager** will be responsible for, but not limited to:

- Leading and managing Agile coaches, Product Managers, Release Train Engineers, Agile delivery teams.
- Providing strategic direction and guidance for the Agile Delivery Section, contributing to outcomes of the branch and department.
- Ensuring digital delivery aligns with departments priorities, meets user needs, is technologically sound, timely and affordable.
- Identify and manage risks and issues related to Agile delivery and take corrective action as needed

The successful **Agile Delivery Manager **will have experience in the following:

- Experience in software development (leading, managing or working within teams), with at least 5 years of experience in Agile development methodologies.
- Proven experience managing high-performing software development teams.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience with Agile project management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence.
