Hays has partnered with its client, one of Australia's foremost Universities, to assist in searching for their new Agile Delivery Lead Currently engaged in a 10-year digital transformation roadmap to broadly uplift ICT digital capability and infrastructure across their Australian campuses and offices. This role can be performed out of their Canberra, Sydney or Adelaide office.

**Your new role**

Day to day, you'll be:

- Drive the delivery of specific business objectives through effective planning, co-ordination of activities, and removal of impediments for squads within a value stream. Maintain a contemporary delivery practice capability, with a focus on Lean and scaled Agile approaches, within an ITS value stream, including providing tailored guidance to uplift capability.
- Promote a dynamic and positive culture within the team focused on creative innovation and psychological safety.
- Conceptualise and lead the development and implementation of delivery plans, ensuring appropriate workforce planning and resourcing activities are taking place within the value stream, working closely with Chapter Leads, Product Owners, and the Value Stream Lead to do so.

- Assist with the proactive identification, management and escalation of key dependencies, risks and issues.
- Assist with budget planning, and the management and reporting of finances for investment streams associated with areas of delivery responsibility.
- Assist with the coordination and facilitation of key events, such as quarterly review and planning sessions at the Value Stream level.
- Monitor and measure progress against delivery and service performance across squads, identifying and introducing relevant metrics that can be baselined and benchmarked in alignment with a business agility framework.
- Build and foster close working relationships with members of the Senior Executive and key stakeholders.
- Comply with all policies and procedures, in particular those relating to work health and safety and equal opportunity.
- Perform other duties as requested, consistent with the classification of the position and in line with the principle of multi-skilling and professional development.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications and/or extensive experience in large scale ICT delivery.
- A proven background working with Agile delivery teams within a range of frameworks.
- Relevant professional certifications in Agile methodologies (primarily scaled agile).
- Proven experience in the leadership of large scale, complex ICT project/program/portfolio delivery management.
- Experience within higher education contexts is desirable.
