**Talent International** is currently recruiting for an **Executive Assistant **to work for an** NSW Government **based in **Milsons Point. **The position is a** 6-month contract role with the possibility of being extended **and are paying **$400 per day + Super.**

**8 hours per day / 40 hours per week**

**Primary purpose of the role**

The Executive Assistant will provide high-level, administrative and executive support, including managing and coordinating administrative processes and liaising with and responding to enquiries from internal and external stakeholders to support the operational effectiveness.

**Key accountabilities**
- Provide professional high level, administrative and executive support services to facilitate the effective management of the Executive's operational function
- Organise meetings and conferences including arrangement of venues, invitations to attend, and preparation of agendas and associated documentation to ensure they are effectively conducted.
- Research, collate and coordinate high-level submissions and responses, reports, advice and briefings on complex policy and operational matters to support informed decision making and planning.
- Exercise discretion and ensure confidentiality in handling all critical and politically sensitive issues that require the Executive's attention to comply with agency requirements.
- Maintain and review administration, record and information systems, processes and procedures to identify areas for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements.
- Provide a high standard of customer service in the delivery of duties to support the organisation and meet our customer and stakeholder needs.

**Key knowledge and experience**
- Demonstrated experience in high-level administrative and executive services.
- Experience in using software packages in preparing correspondence and reports.
