Business Line manager

**Your role and responsibilities**:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and develop our business in Australia. We run an exciting OEM business in the mining segment where we deliver complete Hoisting Solutions and lifecycle services to the mining Industry around the world. In this role you will lead the Australian team with full accountability for all aspects of the business delivering a world class experience for our customers and employees. Our Hoist business in Australia takes care of the hoisting industry in Australia from Sales to project execution and service. The focus of the team is to service the installed base of hoisting solutions, focus on growing the installed base from both new mines as well as capturing upgrades on competitors installed base. The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the Hoisting Business Line of Process Automation Process Industries Division of ABB, Australia and is part of the global business line management team, where you will be a critical team member setting the strategic direction for the global business You will be mainly accountable for: - Delivering long term improvements of the P&L according to targets. - Leading all aspects of the commercial and operations teams, from sales to service. - Leading the day-to-day operations of the organization within Australia. - Developing and implementing the Australian business strategy. - Taking the team as well as the individuals to the next level and driving them to achieve the targets. - Collaborating with the global Business Line Hosting team and wider ABB.

**Qualifications for the role**:

- University degree in engineering, finance or another relevant field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant industry, preferably mining where experience of hoisting business is an advantage.
- Proven record of managing project and/or service organizations and successful leadership style that motivates and enthuses people and organization
- Beneficial if previous experience of holding P&L responsibility and is sales oriented, able to build strong relationships with all customers, engaging with senior executives from customer.
- Strategical mindset but are also being very operationally involved in the business.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
