About the role
The Sales Development Representative is a crucial role within the Wolters Kluwer Enterprise sales team. The primary role of the sales development representative is to research, call and create qualified sales opportunities that are accepted by the Enterprise sales team. The role involves researching prospects, working on inbound and outbound marketing campaigns, and communicating our value proposition to senior decision-makers to acquire sales
- qualified opportunities. This role works with Marketing to uncover and create new opportunities that result in closed business, as well as working closely with the sales team to ensure qualified opportunities lead to closed business.
- This role is based in our Macquarie Park office with flexible working arrangements._
- Key responsibilities include:_- Work closely and collaboratively with Account Executives to develop and implement appropriate prospect strategies and plans- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market- Outbound prospecting and qualifications for new leads- Educate prospects on WK’s Enterprise products and services- Manage your sales pipeline and daily activities in our CRM (Salesforce)- Recommend process enhancements for more targeted marketing efforts, accelerate sales cycle and to expand reach into target
About you- Outbound sales experience, with a history of exceeding targets- The desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals- Understanding of sales processes and strong sales acumen-
- A positive, self-starter attitude and desire to exceed expectations at every opportunity- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a focus on quality of opportunities.- A love for KPIs and helping customers to achieve success- SaaS experience will be advantageous
