This organisation is an Australian success story designing and selling products for babies and kids. Designed with all-natural materials that are organic and sustainable, they have developed a cult following and achieved rapid global expansion, being sold in over 30 countries around the world, and through major retailers here in Australia; as well as via a highly successful direct to consumer proposition which has grown significantly. They are a true omnichannel business, with a well-known brand growing at a double-digit rate year on year.

**About the position**

With an established team including designers, digital, marketing, supply chain, sales etc, they are now looking to recruit a newly created position and we are looking for a Ecommerce Lead to take domestic and international online sales it to the next level. This is a leadership position within the business with scope to grow the team, both short and long term.
- Lead, mentor, coach and support a team of 3
- P&L responsibility for domestic and global ecommerce (B2B & B2B)
- Audit existing landscape, build out global strategy and roadmap to support growth targets to drive online trade (CRO, A/B testing etc)
- Work with external development partners on tech development and create best in onsite CX
- Build the optimisation/ conversion framework, focus on test / learn through A/B testing to drive ongoing improvements
- Review data on a daily / weekly /monthly basis, identify opportunities onsite to optimise and improve conversion and customer experience
- Build businesses case for future investment and continue to build out the roadmap and prioritise key initiatives accordingly

**Skills & experience**
- Strong leadership & stakeholder management skills
- Proven experience in driving profitable growth within the e-commerce channel, international experience highly advantageous
- Experience with shopify / magento would be advantageous but not a mandate
- Experience working with external agencies on site improvements
- Strong understanding of conversion / optimisation enhancements
- Understanding of Google Analytics, must be able to take insights and translate into actionable projects / recommendations
- Customer first focus, thinking in the eyes of the customer / customer service / creating seamless customer experience
- Excellent communication skills and ability to problem solve
