**Job Description**:
As a senior member of the Environmental Services management team in Alexandria, Sydney, you will have the responsibility to create partnerships with existing and potential clients, to ensure we are providing service offerings of the highest standard for our valued of our customer base.

Your key responsibilities in this role will include but are not limited to:

- Management of a sample administration team.
- Technical participation in the Sydney business and National team.
- Manage, mentor, develop and train the Sample Receipt and GBS team.
- Communicate effectively with the relevant section heads of impending samples for production.
- Maintain and oversee bottle orders and sample tracking system for the laboratory.
- Ensure COCs & SRAs are returned within the specified timeframes in coordination with the Client Services Officer and GBS team.
- Assist, maintain and oversee the GBS program with tracking/checking of jobs logged in.
- Ensure sample containers, bottles and all other necessary items are prepared and delivered to clients within the required time frame.
- Provide prompt investigation of client questions and internal queries.

**Qualifications**:

- Preferred formal qualifications including training or experience in people and laboratory management
- Leadership and mentoring skills, ideally in Customer Service position
- Ability to work under pressure in a high throughput environment.
- Environmental industry knowledge desirable
- Experience in water, soil, and air testing
- Previous NATA signatory experience is highly desirable
