Warehouse Team Leader

We will be selecting people based on the following character strengths that align with Hypop:

- 2+ years of experience in a warehouse team leader or similar role in a small to midsize warehouse
- High level of planning and organisational skills
- Experience handling issues and enquiries that require escalation
- Comfortable working with a dog
- Previous picking and packing warehouse experience
- Experience in managing occupational health and safety effectively and efficiently
- Experience in consumer goods/e-commerce (preferred)

Your responsibilities will include:

- Coordinate day-to-day operations and schedules of the warehouse team
- Assist in managing the loading dock for incoming and outgoing goods, including communication with couriers and drivers
- Receive incoming stock at the loading dock
- Accurately check purchase orders, count and unpack inventory in high volumes
- Ensure all goods are assigned and properly stored within the warehouse, and accurately assign SKUs within the system
- Perform various tasks to ensure smooth daily operations, including pick packing, order dispatching, returns processing, goods-in processing, and stocktake maintenance
- Troubleshoot issues, bottlenecks, and technical errors, providing solutions
- Provide leadership to the team, setting high standards and inspiring them to achieve KPIs
- Maintain a professional, hard-working, and positive team culture, with supportive communication and providing constructive feedback
- Daily reporting to the Warehouse & Logistics Manager, including progress updates, staff performance, and achievements
- Some manual lifting, ladder climbing, and operation of the man lift

Monday - Friday: 8.30am - 5pm
