**JOB PURPOSE**: Serve as sales liaison among dealers, customers and other Caterpillar personnel for rental related products and aftermarket sales within Australia and New Zealand.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Requires incumbent to keep current on customer/dealer market needs. Applies product & industry knowledge in support of Cat, dealer & customer expectations in both the short term and long-term horizons. Implements and delivers on global Cat rental team dealer and market strategy.

Work independently on assignments and collaboratively within EPD. Managing own assignments and keeping up to date with new industry trends, changing technology and regulations affecting the marketplace is a requirement

Interacts with high-level professionals (internal & external) and must exhibit excellent communication, financial acumen, and relationship building skills, in particular with distributor principals and dealer sales managers.

Responsible for performing other job duties occasionally as assigned

Requires extensive travel: 70%

When not traveling this position requires you to work full time from the Melbourne, Tullamarine office.

**Required Skills and Experience**:

- This position requires a college or university degree or equivalent experience.
- 3 years of specific industry experience and/or recognized expertise in electric power industries and markets
- Previous customer/dealer facing experience
- Demonstrated the ability to work autonomously, communicate effectively with consultants, dealers and others in the work group
- Technical knowledge of gensets, switchgear, uninterruptable power supply, automatic transfer switch, photovoltaic, microgrid, energy storage and/or packaging
- Strong customer focus
- Demonstrated accountability/ownership
- Act with a sense of urgency
- Highly motivated and energetic
- Strong business acumen
