We are looking for someone to come and join the People team in a backfill role for a 6-month temp position. The person you will be replacing has currently stepped into a P&C business partner role, so you can see we encourage career progression here at DSA.
**The role**:
Reporting to the People Manager, this role will see you supporting the People and Culture business partners with any employment matters, administrative and coordination with end-to-end employee life cycle and many more adhoc requirements. This role also oversees maintenance of all HR records both electronic and where necessary print ensuring records management procedures are carried out correctly.
This role will also see you coordinating P&C policies ad procedure review process and ensure policies and forms are updated regularly on the intranet to support currency and legislative compliance.
**You may also be required to but not limited to**:
- Regular and relevant reporting on key people data and metrics for P&C Team, P&C Managers and DSA leaders
- Work with managers to develop/ implement people strategies building deeper capability and driving growth and performance across DSA Participate in campaigns & relevant sourcing strategies to deliver on business needs.
- Provide coaching and advise to managers across the organisation. This includes all people practices and activities, aligning to the broader People Strategy.
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
**What will you need to have**:
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management. (Desirable)
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in contemporary HR issues & practices.
- Knowledge of employment relations legislation & demonstrated ability to interpret Awards.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and different skill levels within the client group.
- Experience in more than one HR portfolio e.g., Recruitment and Selection, Payroll / HRIS Remuneration & Benefits, Performance Management, Workers Compensation, WH&S, Policy Review & Development, Industrial Relations, Anti-Discrimination and Grievance Management, Learning & Development
- Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to maintain high standards of HR administration.
- High level of initiative with the ability to work independently.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in project planning and delivery.
