Sheq Junior Advisor

**About the role**

The Work Health and Safety / SHEQ Junior Advisor provides support to SHEQ Advisors in multiple projects within the business, including NBN, fixed operations and wireless contracts.

Reporting to the State SHEQ Manager, this position has the primary responsibility to support and monitor the efficient and effective implementation of management systems, delivery of KPI’s, reporting expectations, training content, and contractor compliance.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Manage contractor compliance, as well as maintaining certificate/accreditations
- Review, endorse risk assessments and perform SHEQ evaluations,
- Manage and coordinate the onboarding and inductions for employee/contractors
- Actively participate in incident investigations, reports and deliver tool-box meetings
- Conduct site-based inspections and checks of contractor training, competency, and license requirements through the VisRes dashboard.

**About you**
- Qualifications in WHS/ OHS (Certificate IV or Diploma)
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
- Ability to generate well-presented reports in a timely manner
