**Internal and Stakeholder Communications Lead opportunity**
- **$60-$65 per hour plus Super dependent on experience**:

**About the role**

Our NFP client currently seeks an experienced Internal and Stakeholder Communications Lead to join them on a 2-3 month contract assignment. As the Internal and Stakeholder Communications Lead, you will be responsible for leading internal and external communication initiatives and events for the organisation.

**Key duties**

Reporting directly into the Head of Communications, your key tasks and responsibilities will include:

- Planning and delivering all internal and external communications initiatives and events for the organisation's strategic projects related to Gender Equality and Diversity & Inclusion, and Early to Mid-Career Researcher Development.
- Working in partnership with key stakeholders, plan and deliver change management communications.
- Manage event budgets ensuring spend is within agreed limits.
- Develop positive and professional relationships with external suppliers including venue managers, caterers, graphic designers, and printers to deliver events and event collateral.
- Promote the organisation's staff and their research through liaising with external organisations and managing major events which promote their impact with potential staff, students, research collaborators and funders.
- Organise staff forums - including developing presentations for key speakers and organizing
- Manage content on the organisation's intranet and other internal communications channels and build capacity

**Experience and Skills**

The skills and experience you will need to demonstrate include:

- Demonstrated experience in delivering impactful communications that improve employee engagement and support organisations through change.
- Ability to manage projects and events, and work productively with external suppliers including venue managers, caterers, graphic designers and printers.
- Experience coordinating recording and livestreaming of events.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills including ability to work with people from a wide range of backgrounds; a level of maturity and confidence.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including PowerPoint, CRM management databases (Salesforce) and online event registration systems such as Humanitix.
- Well organised with strong time management capability, and experience working within multiple timeframes and deadlines.
- Strong writing and editing skills.

**Qualifications**
- Tertiary Qualifications in a relevant field e.g. Communications, Public Relations or extensive experience as an internal communications specialist preferably within the government or not for profit sector
