Our client is a renowned Australian Shopping destination they are an industry leader in delivering high-quality Products at competitive prices. Showcasing all of your favorite products, prestigious brands and international trends across Fashion, Health, Beauty, Kitchen, Electronics, Homewares and Jewellery.
This is an exciting opportunity for you to join as their Digital Lead. You would be responsible for driving all digital marketing for the online store. This position reports directly to the GM and is responsible for leading the eCommerce and digital function.
The Digital lead is responsible for all the Digital CRM, Insights and Customer Journey, works closely with others in the Digital Marketing team, and with Merchandising and Creative teams to be in charge of and advance digital projects to create pathways to ensure growth in sales, new customers, reactivation of customers as well as ensure higher frequency of customer spend.
This individual's key focus is to help progress digital projects and to maximize the customer journey to ensure increased revenue, increased customer spend and frequency of spend, increased engagement and retention from our customers.
With a customer-centric focus and approach, this role is accountable for delivering the onsite performance across the website. This is a high-profile role that is heavily involved in leading change and the future growth of eCommerce at the Global Brand.
Responsibilities include:
- Review and refine the CRM strategy across all platforms
- Drive and manage the CRM program on a day-to-day basis - including 3rd party relationships with partners involved in paid search, paid social and customer acquisition
- Review the loyalty programs from a customer journey perspective
- Day to day management of Loyalty schemes building participants and managing profitability
- Responsible for data insights and customer journey analysis on the platforms
- Working with our analyst to manage the database to include reporting, analysis and insights.
- Implementation of specific CRM programs to improve engagement and increase revenue with customers and limit attrition rate
- Scope out the strategy of digital projects. Develop the design, look and feel for the projects and liaise with various teams to get projects completed to spec.
This position requires an applicant with skills in:
- At least 5+ years' experience in an eCommerce and Digital management role and senior leadership role
- Demonstrated success in delivering online sales growth
- Site development, technical and aesthetic expertise
- Experience in international eCommerce highly regarded.
- A strong passion for technology whilst understanding the commercial drivers of a large Omni-channel trading organisation;
- Superior analytical performance and optimisation understanding which drives online channel sales growth and in-store performance;
- Demonstrated experience in developing online strategy and development of road maps.
- Technical knowledge and understanding of eCommerce Platforms and common eCommerce plugins.
- Demonstrated strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize and deliver high impact initiatives.
- Be forward-thinking, working on present day strategy as well as preparing for the rapidly evolving future of eCommerce.
