**Licensing Advisor opportunity**
- **Approx. $60-$65 per hour plus Super dependent on experience**:

**About the role**

Our client, a government regulatory agency, seeks a Licensing Advisor to join them on a short-term assignment for a duration of up to a period of 6-month based in Melbourne CBD with an immediate start.

**Responsibilities and tasks**:
Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Providing guidance to internal and external stakeholders on matters relating to entity registrations, certification, professional indemnity insurance, and low risk suitability assessments.
- Preparing correspondence, memorandums and reports on complex matters for internal and external stakeholders, with recommendations and options for decision.
- Ensuring that information and documentation is maintained in information systems and databases in accordance with information management policies and procedures.
- Gathering and analysing data to identify risks and make recommendations about continuous improvement to processes

**Key Selection Criteria**:
The experience and skills you will need to demonstrate include:

- Relevant experience in a licensing, and government or regulatory environment.
- High level of communication and negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to use those skills to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- A high level of computer literacy and ability to use information technology resources conscious of confidentiality and privacy.
- Experience in mentoring and coaching junior staff members.

**Qualifications**:

- Tertiary qualification in law will be highly regarded but not essential.
- Previous experience working a licensing, government and/or regulatory environment.

- The pay rate offered is inclusive of 25% casual loading.
- The anticipated hours per week are 38 (7.6 hours per day) for this contract.
