**Your Career**
The role of the Head of Business Development and Lead Development is key to driving our new business pipeline. You will lead teams of inside sales representatives across the Asia-Pacific theater to drive goals and quotas aligned directly to the Marketing and Sales teams. Reporting to the Director of Inside Sales, you will lead the evolution of this function. To do this, you will partner closely with Sales and Marketing leadership to ensure the delivery of goals and objectives around the direct creation of pipeline.
**Your Impact**
- Manage a diverse internal group of team leads and reps to deliver against a group of key sales objectives
- Set goals and define success for our external agency partners, ensuring they align to SLAs and SOWs
- Coach and develop the next generation of sales and leadership talent
- Ensure teams are responding to inbound campaigns; drive ROI whilst engaging in feedback and improvement
- Drive increasing volumes of effective outbound campaigns to acquire whitespace and expand pipeline for new products
- Set and uphold standards for qualification and opportunity creation
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders in marketing and sales leadership; and ensure these relationships are nurtured and productive for two-way feedback
- Work with operations to provide frequent reporting to key stakeholders
- Uphold existing processes around inbound and outbound campaigns; refine these to drive improved outcomes
- Build a long-term staffing and compensation model for the team, and partner with HR to recruit and hire new talent as required
- Evaluate individual team member performance and provide feedback and support to improve productivity and acknowledge contributions
- Travel approximately once per quarter
**Qualifications**:
**Your Experience**
- Multiple years of experience as an individual contributor and as a team manager
- Experience of an inside sales type environment
- Exposure to and familiarity with multiple markets within JAPAC
- Ability to identify needs/pain points, present value-based messaging, and create a sense of urgency with prospects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with CRM system for managing leads, monitoring productivity and assessing campaigns
- Familiarity with and can articulate value propositions of technical products to enterprise customers
- Desirable to have had exposure within a channel-based company with an understanding of the IT channel
