The ambition of our Non-Life team is in positioning Munich Re as the premium discussion partner for our clients through the provision of and access to an extensive depth of local and global knowledge. The Non-Life team strives for being recognised as an innovative solution and large capacity provider by offering tailor-made reinsurance products that support our clients in managing their capital as well as newly emerging risks.

The Facultative underwriting team specialises in the underwriting of complex risks for our local reinsurance clients. We provide additional technical support complementing our client management and treaty initiatives. The team works within both the Sydney Non-Life Team and also the global F&C community.

You will report to the Facultative Manager.

**Your Role**:

- Input Risk details into Facultative Underwriting System (FAB) for facultative risks and bind/adjust those risks in FAB
- Premium and document input to internal Reinsurance Accounting System for written facultative risks
- Issue Cover Notes where required
- Clerical support to Underwriters where required ie creation of files/folders within EBF, filing of documentation, maintenance of Facultative tracking sheet
- Assistance with data integrity auditing
- Premium reconciliation
- Follow up unclosed business as specified and handling communication with Technical Accounts Team
- Support Facultative Manager

**Your Profile**:

- 2 years+ administration experience ideally within the insurance industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. High level of comfort in manipulating large data sets
- Experience with underwriting platforms and CRM systems
- Work in a team environment
