**About The Role**

Working within a structured team and under the guidance of authorised Underwriters, the aim of this role is to utilise and develop a broad knowledge across multiple lines of business to handle complex tasks across the commercial, General Insurance portfolio and work closely with Underwriters & Service Consultants, including the wider team to ensure service activities are achieved within time frames specified.

The Assistant Underwriter acts as an account representative by responding to service matters and coordinating with appropriate business partners both internal and external for resolution.

**Important to your success**
- 1+ years insurance experience (desirable)
- Proficient in the use of, Excel, Word and other software packages necessary to the role
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build and maintain trustful, working relationships at all levels of the organisation
- Strong eye for detail and problem solving ability
