**Our Client**: Our client is one of Australia’s leading Underwriting Agencies based in Sydney, NSW. They are dynamic and forward-thinking, specialising in innovative and negoitated insurance solutions. Their expertise in Liability Underwriting, Property Underwriting, Construction and Cyber Liability, combined with a team of experienced underwriting specialists, enables them to provide gold standard service and delivery to the intermediated market. They pride themselves on being knowledgeable about industry needs and the insured, and have gained a reputation for exemplary friendly service within the insurance industry.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to support the Head of Specialty. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn and develop a range of skills in a specialised area of the insurance industry.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Underwriting Support:

- Assist in the evaluation and pricing of specialty insurance products.
- Analyse risk factors and make recommendations based on underwriting guidelines.
- Prepare submissions for underwriting process plus documentation and reporting.

Client and Broker Relations:

- Develop and maintain positive relationships with brokers and clients.
- Assist in negotiations and provide solutions to meet client needs.

Policy Administration:

- Ensure accurate and timely issuance of policies and endorsements.
- Manage and update risk records in the underwriting systems.

Compliance and Reporting:

- Adhere to all regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Assist in the preparation of reports for management.

**About You**
- No previous insurance experience required however any insurance related studies are highly regarded
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field, desired however not essential.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and in team settings
