- 6 month contract, with the possibility of extensions

**Working arrangements**:
The contractor will be working a full time, 38 hour work week. Flexible working arrangements may be considered with regards to a work from home allowance of 2-3 days which may be negotiated and arranged during the onboarding process.

**About the role**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the development of policy relating to digital inclusion
- conduct research and analysis to support policy development and build understanding of digital inclusion issues
- prepare draft reports, briefing papers, speech input and discussion papers
- engage with stakeholders within government
- support the secretariat functions of the Advisory Group
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities

**Ideally, you will have**:

- strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- great policy writing skills and the ability to consistently deliver quality advice
- the ability to quickly gain an understanding of policy areas and technical information
- the capacity to work collaboratively and independently and possess strong decision-making.
