APG is currently seeking an experienced Asset Manager (Land and Property) for a 12-Month contract within a Parramatta Government Sector.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Reporting to the Senior Manager, Workplace Strategy, our Manager, Leasing is an integral part of our team to achieve DCJ’s vision for transforming our workplaces.
- As our Manager, Leasing, you will lead a small team (up to two direct reports) to ensure the optimisation of our leased portfolio which encompasses over 400 leases (over 250 sites) across NSW. Working across NSW with our valued stakeholders, and collaboratively with our partners at Property & Development NSW, you will be our key advisor and guide for all things leasing.
- You will use data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improving the quality and efficiency of our leased portfolio in line with our strategic objectives.
- Working closely with our internal stakeholders to identify leasing strategies that support service delivery and DCJ’s strategic objectives.
- Empowering Property & Development NSW to negotiate office leases on DCJ’s behalf to meet our strategic goals.
- Identifying opportunities within our leased office accommodation footprint to transform our workplaces.
- Identifying risks and issues within our leased office accommodation footprint.
- Managing risks and issues within our leased office accommodation footprint by developing recommendations/mitigation strategies that consider financial, safety and time impacts.
- Developing stakeholder engagement and communications strategies and plans (or equivalent) to maintain stakeholder relationships and keep stakeholders informed.

**To be successful in this role you will**:

- Have previous experience in managing and negotiating commercial leases
- Be excited by and appropriately use evidence-based data to analyse and report key metrics for lease performance
- Have previously implemented risk management strategies to limit organisational liability relative to office accommodation
- Enjoy building relationships and engaging with stakeholders, committed to providing a customer-focused culture
- Have previous experience managing and coaching people
- Ability to complete own work tasks under guidance within set budgets, timeframes and standards.
- Demonstrate an understanding of methodologies and supporting technologies related to project management
- Have intermediate skills in Microsoft Word (e.g., preparing reports and briefing notes) and Microsoft Excel (e.g., data analysis to support the development of leasing strategies and portfolio optimisation).
- Able to Travel local travel and regional if needed
