There’s never been a better time to be in energy. And there’s never been a more exciting time to be at Endeavour Energy.
More than 2.7 million people across New South Wales rely on us every day for the supply of safe and reliable power to their homes and businesses. We employ more than 1,700 people across our catchment, making us one of the largest employers in Sydney’s Greater West.
We need talented people who care about one another and the work they do. Why? Because we’re one of Australia's fastest growing networks, connecting 20,000 new customers each year, including the Western Sydney Aerotropolis. And when we power together, we go further, faster; towards a smarter, more sustainable future for us all. Join Endeavour Energy and play a key role in shaping the future of our network.
**About the Role**:
We're looking for an experienced Asset Risk and Performance Manager to lead the development of asset strategies, standards, and long-term planning to ensure the safety, reliability, and performance of our electrical network.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of asset strategies, policies and standards informed by FMECA and lifecycle analysis, ensuring our network is safe, reliable and cost-effective throughout its lifespan.
- Oversee preventative and condition-based maintenance practices, working closely with Field Operations and the EPMO to ensure proactive risk management and consistent asset performance.
- Manage vegetation strategies in partnership with Major Contracts and Procurement teams, supporting safe and efficient network operations.
- Collaborate with internal experts to design and maintain robust asset risk and intervention value models that guide asset strategies, investment decisions and climate resilience planning.
- Drive long-term asset planning and forecasting, developing intervention strategies and maintenance programs that balance performance, safety and sustainability.
- Lead condition monitoring and use data insights to identify performance issues and recommend responsive improvements beyond standard practices.
- Support team development, mentoring and inclusive leadership while contributing to the delivery of Endeavour Energy’s Network Business and Corporate Strategies.
- Offer trusted technical advice across teams to support network expansion, incident recovery and problem-solving.
- Represent Endeavour Energy on industry panels, fostering collaboration and alignment on technical standards and best practices.
**What You’ll Bring**:
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Strong experience in asset management, risk forecasting, and power systems.
- An analytical mindset with knowledge of optimisation tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proven leadership capability and commercial acumen.
Applications close - **19 August 2025**
