Accounts Assistant | ERP System | Sydney North Shore | Immediate Start | 6 Month Contract

Global company with local branches across NSW, QLD, and VIC. An opportunity has arisen for an experienced accounts assistant to join their finance team on a temporary basis. The role is initially for a 6’ month period with opportunity to extend to a longer-term role. Based in Sydney’s North Shore.

**Your new role**

You will be responsible for assisting the AR, AP, and Billings Officers with the following:

- Accounts receivable - collection of outstanding debt
- Debtor accounts reconciliation
- Billings - raising sales invoices
- Accounts payable - entering supplier invoices to the system
- Checking subcontractors’ licences and other documentation
- Following up outstanding or incorrect documentation
- Maintenance of internal systems to record documentation
- Assisting department with project work and other administrative tasks

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Demonstrated experience in accounts receivable
- Experience in collection calls and chasing debt
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in an accounting support role
- Expertise using ERP systems beneficial
- Skilled in MS Office Suite including Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping (debits and credits)
