We are working with a national insurance organisation which is expanding their Brisbane team. This organisation provides stability, long term opportunity and a great team focused inclusive environment.
At present we are seeking applicants from a variety of background including Claims, Life or General Insurance, Allied Health or Medical Administration/Support. These opportunities will suit someone who is passionate about assisting others and customer focused.
Key Responsibilities may include
- Management of Income Protections claims.
- Liaising with claimants, allied health professional and other relevant parties.
- Build strong and lasting relationships with claimants and clients.
- Actively manage the reserve while assessing all the relevant medical information.
- Proactively liaising with all relevant parties including all allied health professionals.
Essential Requirements
- Claims management or customer service/administration experience from a variety of backgrounds including - life, general, accident and health and travel insurance.
- Allied health or medical administration experience would be highly regarded.
- Sound understanding of medical terminology would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Genuine desire to help people through the injury and recovery process.
- Proven ability to work in a fast paced ever changing environment.
- Customer focused approach.
