**The Opportunity**
Due to ongoing growth within our organisation, we have a newly created position for a Defence experienced
**Talent Acquisition Specialist **to join the Goal Group Talent Acquisition team.

We are experiencing tremendous growth, and you will play a significant role in strategic sourcing, attracting, recruiting, and onboarding the best talent for some of the largest capital acquisition and sustainment projects in the Australian Defence.

Responsibilities include:

- Developing, and implementing strategic sourcing initiatives;
- Writing and posting job advertisements;
- Screening, shortlisting, interviewing (face-to-face/MS TEAMS);
- Talent pooling;
- Completing reference checks;
- Driving Goal Group brand awareness in Australia;
- Participation at team and industry events as may be required;
- Other tasks as required.

**About you**
- Enjoy the challenge of strategic sourcing and networking to find suitably skilled talent within the Defence sector;
- Possess solid strategic sourcing experience, within agency, RPO and/or internal - within the Australian Defence sector;
- Have strong customer service and relationship building skills to both internal and external stakeholders, along with influencing, consulting and advisory skills;
- Be able to work from home/be self-directed to achieve recruiting outcomes;
- Have experience in using LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean search for strategic sourcing and talent pooling.
