**The Role**
Based in our Newcastle Office, the purpose of this role is to provide dedicated and strategic administrative support to the Managing Partner of Consulting (MPC), viewing the association of Executive Assistant (EA) and MPC as a long-term collaborative partnership. This role is essential in ensuring that the MPC is informed, punctual and empowered to deliver strategic objectives with limited disruptions. The nature of this role is to be a connecter, bringing together the critical elements of our business, ultimately supporting its success.

The EA to the MPC will act as a central contact point for information and communication within the Consulting Leadership Team and by extension, the broader consulting arm of Northrop. The role encompasses operational responsibilities as well as the facilitation of open communication and distribution of information within the business.

**Day to day responsibilities include**:

- Build relationships and work collaboratively with Northrop’s external partners, and internally with Northrop people
- Coordinate with Executive Leadership Team to plan and map out requirements of implementing the plan, and the status of strategic initiatives every quarter in conjunction with Consulting Leadership Team.
- Work collaboratively with IT and maintain a quality relationship to ensure issues are resolved quickly to minimise time lost
- Coordinate and manage all travel arrangements for the Managing Partner in a timely manner
- Arrange meetings, including booking rooms, catering, tele/video conference facilities on behalf of Managing Partner and Executive Leadership Team
- Work collaboratively with Managing Partner to prepare documents including but not limited to; One-pagers, Reports, Presentations, Business Cases
- Communicate accountabilities following management meetings and ensure activities are understood and actioned.
- Assisting with reception and other administrative duties.

- Tertiary qualification in business administration or relevant field
- Proven experience as a C-Suite or Senior Management level Executive Assistant within a professional services environment
- Proven experience in providing secretarial support to board committees
- Demonstrated and proficient knowledge of entire MS Office suite
- Demonstrated ability to self-manage and prioritise workloads with good project management skills, including initiative, problem-solving, and meeting objectives. Possesses the ability to be proactive in seeking out answers or further advice where required
- Creates rapport to build constructive relationships in both formal and informal settings with colleagues, as well as internal and external contacts
- Communicates clearly, concisely, and accurately in all verbal and written communications, using appropriate business language
