**About the role**
This position is responsible for setting the strategic direction for Council’s Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and leading a team of skilled ICT professionals in their service delivery to Council. The position is also responsible for managing the Councils information technology projects and acting as a liaison between clients, vendors, and consultants.

As a key member of the Finance & Information team and reporting to the Chief Financial & Information Officer, you will play a pivotal role in driving and project managing strategic ICT projects. Highly visible within the business, the position is responsible for hardware facilitation, upgrades and infrastructure. Also a significant system software development and continuous improvement program.

Ideally, you will;
- Be a change agent and drive projects to improve and enhance information and communication systems capability to deliver on Council’s strategic priorities.
- Contribute and participate in Council’s business planning processes.
- Lead and participate in the development of Information and Communication Technology projects and activities that meet the changing needs of Council.
- Provide leadership and advice to the Council on emerging issues and opportunities to ensure a proactive approach is taken to achieving best practise in information technology systems and processes.
- Manage the development and maintenance of Management Plans related to the ICT function.

We are offering an attractive total remuneration from
**$217,573.55 to $241,313.91** (Includes salary + super).
