**Expression of Interest - Technical Support Administrator - NSW Trustee and Guardian**

**Expressions of interest are being sought from current NSW Public Sector employees (ongoing and temporary staff) who wish to be considered for this temporary employment opportunity.**
- Temporary full-time role until 29 August 2025.
- 35 hours per week.
- Location: This role is based in either Parramatta or Sydney. Flexible and hybrid working options available.
- Clerk Grade: 7/8. Base salary $110,266 p.a. to $122,058 p.a. plus superannuation and annual leave loading.

**About the team**
The Information and Technology division drives digital innovation and the way we interact with our customers through the development of digital products, IT support, cyber security, and information management services.

**About the role**

This role will ensure the support is given to internal customers, through a range of tools to troubleshoot and resolve issues of moderate complexity across the organisational ICT environment, complying with service management policies and procedures. This role will be responsible for the delivery of tactical solutions to improve the IT experience across NSW Trustee and Guardian.

As a Technical Support Administrator, you will:

- Provide quality IT support to internal customers, use appropriate tools and methods to address internal customer support queries and return internal customers ICT systems and networks to optimum efficiency in a timely manner.
- Manage set-up activities for ICT devices and systems and monitor their performance to limit or prevent service downtime for end internal customers.
- Through regular interactions with staff, identify recurring issues and work with the team to suggest system enhancements and bug fixes.
- Develop, review and maintain support documentation to assist others in restoring services and reduce the impact of unplanned outages.
- Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and issues management to engage stakeholders and ensure project deliverables are met.
- Perform regular technical maintenance of software and systems. This may include system patching, security incident response, backup management and system monitoring.

**About you**

- Demonstrated track record in IT delivery through collaborative working and teamwork
- Previous experience in supporting Win10 and Office365
- Has a positive “can-do” attitude and be self-motivated.

**Essential requirements**
- Knowledge and experience of the ITIL framework.
- Experience providing IT support in a similar sized organisation.
