We are seeking a Records Management Project Officer to support, maintain and develop Parliament's records management systems.

We are seeking a Records Management Project Officer to support, maintain and develop Parliament's records management systems.

**Records Management Project Officer**

As part of the Records Management team you will provide high-level support to key stakeholders with an emphasis on customer service.

You will analyse processes and systems and provide advice to teams on effective, useful and compliant records and information management processes for creation, control, disposal, access, security and privacy of records.

You will also assist with developing, maintaining and implementing metadata listings and controls and a functional business classification scheme to help describe, organise, control, and reuse information.

**About you**

You will bring demonstrated experience in supporting the implementation of an electronic records management system and producing relevant project documents such as project plans, briefs and reports.

As a Records Management Project Officer you will use your highly developed interpersonal communication skills (written & verbal) to influence and negotiate with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Detailed knowledge in contemporary records management principles and practices, including experience in SharePoint or similar electronic document systems will be key to succeeding in this role.
