Job description

Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to team of accountants and advisers.
- Implementation of recommended advice strategies, including coordinating with advisers and clients regarding documentation required
- Database management, including set up of new clients and maintain client files.
- The updating, archiving and maintenance of accurate electronic data within various software platforms. An adherence to current procedures with a view towards continually offering constructive feedback.
- Preparation of electronic or physical collations in a timely, organised and efficient manner.
- Communication with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) and other outside parties in relation to basic client matters
- Preparation of correspondence as required including business letters, invoices, reports, articles and proposals, in accordance with established templates.
- Ad-hoc administration tasks.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working in a similar role within a professional services environment (ideally financial planning)
- An understanding of the financial planning process
- Comfortable working as part of a collaborative team
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy of work
- Flexibility to perform different and varied tasks
- The ability to work under pressure and effectively manage time and prioritisation of tasks
- Proficient computer skills including Outlook and Microsoft Office suite - confident learning new systems and maintaining databases
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to consult with peers.
