As a Client Service Officer, you will be a vital link between clients and the team of experienced accountants. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the client service department, delivering exceptional support, and facilitating strong client relationships.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Client Support**: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing timely and professional responses to inquiries, requests, and issues.
- **Account Management**: Assist in managing client accounts, including billing, invoicing, and financial reporting.
- **Client Onboarding**: Facilitate the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring all necessary documentation and information are collected and processed efficiently.
- **Document Management**: Maintain accurate and organized client files and records.
- **Communication**: Coordinate and communicate with clients to gather financial data and documentation needed for accounting services.
- **Appointment Scheduling**: Schedule meetings and appointments for clients with our accounting team.
- **Problem Resolution**: Address and resolve client concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
- **Client Education**: Provide clients with information on our services, tax regulations, and financial planning.
- **Administrative Support**: Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry, report generation, and general office duties.
- **Quality Assurance**: Ensure all client interactions adhere to industry standards and our firm's policies.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in client service or customer support role is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail to manage client accounts and records effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Adaptability and a willingness to learn new accounting procedures and software.
- Professionalism and a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
