Overview:
**Your role**:In the role of the Claims Consultant you will play a key part in assessing and adjusting a portfolio of contents insurance claims from start to finish, providing excellent customer service to our clients in a compliant and cost-effective manner.

**Responsibilities**:
**Your key tasks will include**:

- Manage a portfolio of large loss contents claims, liaising with various stakeholders to completion.
- Meet service, quality standards and creating accurate work scopes required by Acts.
- Gather quality information by investigation in a timely manner to progress claims.
- Peer review reports completed by Adjusters for quality prior to issuing to clients.
- Identify appropriate claims settlement amounts and determine coverage including any sub limits under the policy.
- Gather appropriate level of information and detail to progress and support claims.
- Compose and submit summarised assessments and recommendations for claims.
- Communicate policy decisions to clients in an empathetic manner.
- Make recommendations for payments in relation to the insurance claim, based on policy.
- Respond to incoming calls from our clients and supply chain network.
- Comply with legislative and regulatory requirements, and report any breaches as known.

Qualifications:
**About you**:

- Proven general insurance claims management experience (ideally property).
- Excellent customer service, with strong influencing skills and an empathetic manner.
- Self-disciplined, self-motivated, with the ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Demonstrated computer literacy i.e. Microsoft Office Suite, ability to learn new systems.
- Enthusiastic team player embracing a collaborative and supportive culture.
- Ability to assess claims and execute quality outputs under tight timelines.

Scope for other opportunities in the GB business after the contract term is complete may be available.
