An exciting opportunity that has become available for a **Service Manager **to join our Australian team. Endress+Hauser Australia is made up of 100 dedicated employees across the country, with our national office located in Artarmon, Sydney, and additional offices in other key locations.

The **Service Manager **has overall responsibility for the smooth and efficient operations of the Service Department, which involves the leadership of a team of Service Engineers and Coordinators, as well as the development and implementation of the Service business strategy.

**Which tasks will you perform?**
- Lead and manage a team of Service engineers and technicians to ensure high-quality service delivery, meeting operational goals and customer expectations
- Drive and ensure compliance with Work, Health and Safety legislation for the Service business, in particular, compliance with on site regulations
- Development and implementation of Service business strategy for the Australian business
- Monitoring and assisting with Service coordination activities, providing support and guidance as required.
- Overall responsibility for developing and securing service contracts and principal point of contact for contract negotiation.
- Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of service projects, from installation and maintenance to troubleshooting and repairs.
- Undertake business development activities for the service department.
- Foster strong relationships with key clients, ensuring prompt and professional resolution of any service-related issues and concerns.
- Track and analyze key service performance indicators (KPIs), implementing strategies for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, projects, to ensure seamless service operations and customer experience.
- **What do we expect from you?**
- Previous experience in a similar role within a Service department
- Proven leadership skills and experience with the ability to lead, motivate and develop a team
- Proven track record in managing customer relationships and achieving service excellence.
- Strong technical background in instrumentation, control systems and process plants.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with both internal teams and external clients effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.Demonstrated success in achieving business plan objectives
