Projects Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Projects Coordinator to plan, schedule and manage a wide range of construction projects from start to finish. Working closely with a diverse range of clients including local governments and landscape contractors, you will organise and oversee the delivery, coordination, and construction of various small - medium-sized projects.

Primarily office based as this is a national company, the ultimate goal of this role is to ensure each client encounters an exceptionally easy customer service experience, and that each project is delivered on time and within budget.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintain close proactive communication with exceptional responsiveness to all customers
- Obtain permits, licenses, inductions and certificates from appropriate authorities
- Commence major projects with kick-off meetings and complete final handover
- Drive profitability of site works, and provide regular feedback
- Ensure compliance of site works with quality, WHS, and environmental standards
- Collaborate with manufacturing and for timing and dispatch of product for delivery of materials
- Plan all installation operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
- Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports
- Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
- Ensure projects are progress-invoiced for works completed

**Key Requirements**:

- Previous project supervision, or experience with building/ civil construction or similar
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
- An understanding of construction procedures, material and project management principles
- Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
- Sound knowledge of MS Office and IT generally
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- A team player with leadership abilities
- Building Trade Qualification, Building & Construction degree or similar would be highly advantageous but not essential
