Super Retail Group are looking for an Operations Manager to be based in their Brendale and Strathpine Offices in Brisbane. This exciting new role will have operational oversight for group wide multi-mode Transport operations. The key to your success, the ability to create and maintain strong working partnerships with Transport Suppliers..

Working within a challenging and fast paced role, you and your team are responsible for making it happen Getting it there in full and on time

This role provides critical oversight of task and team whilst drawing on extensive transport knowledge to ensure attainment of key performance targets.

**No two days will be the same, some of the key responsibilities of the role will include**:

- Lead, oversee and monitor transport operations across group driving a high-performance, safety focused culture.
- Direct engagement with and management of transport suppliers nationally to deliver for and on behalf of brand and business
- Support operational excellence through key disciplines including Safety, Customer Service and Financial
- Performance and commercial reporting

**To deliver successful outcomes in this role you will**:

- 5 + years Operations **management experience** in Transport
- Multi-mode experience (rail, road all freight formats)
- Demonstrated experience managing an operational team in Transport or related discipline
- Excellent end to end knowledge of Supply Chain Operations desirable
- Comprehensive knowledge of legislation, regulations and Chain of Responsibility
- High level of planning and organisational skills
- Strong communication, and interpersonal skills.. You need to be able to talk the talk and walk the walk at all levels
- Tertiary education in a relevant discipline desirable but not essential
- Relevant training in transport disciplines - CoR essential
