An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced and driven individual to join our ‘brand new’ automotive retail operation on the Gold Coast. You will be part of an enthusiastic and passionate team which retails used prestige vehicles. In this critically important role, you will be responsible for all Finance and Administration duties for this important Business Unit.
Training will be given to the successful applicant
**Job tasks and responsibilities**
Comprehensively ensuring that all revenues and expenses at the site are accurately captured and allocated across all vehicles or general ledger line item in a timely manner.
Input of other Site invoices into Eclipse as approved by Site Manager eg rent, electricity, Carsales. Of extreme importance is invoice narration in Eclipse and general ledger coding (ensuring in line with Budget code)
To work closely with Group Financial Controller to ensure that all daily, weekly and monthly P&L reporting for the site is accurate
To work closely with Site Manager to deliver timely and accurate information
To work closely with Sales & Finance Manger to create multiple Sales contracts & invoices daily.
To manage cashflow of the site
To be responsible for the Balance Sheet (and hence monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations)
Daily bank reconciliation
General office administration
Coordinate staff reimbursements with Head office
Responsible for Staff Attendance timesheets and submitting these weekly to Payroll
Responsible for ensuring all invoices entered into Eclipse are also scanned and uploaded into Eclipse.
Responsible for Site Accounts Receivable collection and management
Responsible for management of Site Accounts Payable to monitor ageing. Reconcile Creditor Supplier statements to Aged Creditor trial balance for the Site.
Daily banking in accordance with Group Banking and Handling Cash procedures
Batch payment load for all invoices that require payment. This will be processed by Head office
Daily reconciling of EFTPOS machine
Responsible for site Debit Card ie safekeeping and issuance / return together with invoices
Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations for the Company
Generation of sales contracts
Vehicle registration and QLD transport department processing
A background in finance and administration
- INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE HIGHLY REGARDED
A background within automotive and experience with ECLIPSE & DIAS would be looked upon favourably
Strong communication skills
Highly accurate when it comes to daily processing and an eye for detail
Strong organisational skills
Ability to think proactively
Strong time-management skills
Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team with mínimal supervision
A professional and corporate presentation and manner
Experienced in a fast paced office culture
Intermediate to advanced computer knowledge is essential, including Word, Excel and Outlook
Grounded personality with a “Can-Do” attitude along with a genuine desire to help the team to succeed is paramount.
