**The Role**
Relevance AI is looking for a **Head of Product Design** to lead and scale our product design team. This role is 80% hands-on in the tools and 20% leadership-focused, meaning you will be actively involved in designing user experiences while also managing and mentoring the current design team. You will be responsible for defining and evolving our design principles, ensuring we create world-class user experiences while maintaining technical depth.As the Head of Product Design, you will take on end-to-end design responsibilities, from user research and prototyping to delivering final UI mockups. In addition, you will provide mentorship, conduct performance reviews, and help foster a culture of design excellence and growth.

**Your impact**
- Define and execute a bold product design vision aligned with business objectives.
- Be hands-on in designing and refining key features, including complex AI-driven workflows.
- Simplify complex AI-driven workflows into seamless, intuitive user experiences.
- Scale and lead a high-performing product design team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and executive teams to drive user-centered design strategies.
- Establish and implement design processes and best practices for consistency and scalability.
- Advocate for design thinking across the company and champion user research to deeply understand customer needs.
- Drive major design initiatives such as the evolution of our workflow builder and AI agent interactions.
- Manage, mentor, and support the growth of the design team, including conducting performance reviews and career development guidance.

**What We’re Looking For**
- Extensive experience in UX and UI design, particularly in complex SaaS platforms (no-code tools, automation, AI-powered products, etc.).
- Proven leadership skills with experience growing and mentoring design teams.
- A strong portfolio showcasing a history of delivering intuitive and impactful product designs.
- Technical aptitude with an understanding of variables, system interactions, and AI-driven workflows.
- Experience driving design strategy in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Ability to translate ambiguity into clarity through research, wireframing, and prototyping.
- Experience balancing hands-on design work with leadership responsibilities.
- Passion for AI and the future of automation in work.
