At Guzman y Gomez, we’re on a mission to reinvent fast food and change the way the world eats. Our product team creates class-leading digital experiences that are used by thousands of people daily. We’re committed to crafting meaningful guest and staff experiences, and we’re seeking a talented Product Designer (UX/UI) to join our growing team.

What you can expect in the role:

- Collaborate alongside experienced PMs, senior engineers and savvy marketers to ideate, spec, design and implement beautiful solutions that change how people think about food.
- Design world class customer experiences that anyone can use that adhere to first principles and GYG values.
- Plan customer research including conducting and synthesising research into actionable insights.
- Design world class tools that supercharge our operations, spanning across the whole business from restaurant ops to customer service.
- Design for both our consumer and business users working across our core touch points, designing end to end journeys from discovery to execution on Android, iOS and web as well as internal platforms.
- Develop deep user empathy, envision how people should interact with GYG and bring that vision to life in a way that feels magical.
- Launch, analyze and iterate on designs based on tight feedback loops with customers and your teams.
- Contribute to developing a robust design system to enable rapid iteration

You’ll enjoy this role if you have:

- Product Design experience shipping consumer-facing products and apps that people love.
- Experience working in a start-up and scale-up environment
- Experience conducting research including qualitative and quantitive methodologies.
- Strong user empathy without bias. Able to put yourself into the shoes of our users.
- Proficiency designing across multiple platforms (iOS, Android, Desktop, Mobile Web).
- Experience in having worked in or closely with a Design System.
- You’re able to make near-term tradeoffs and shortcut traditional design processes to get something out the door quickly, whilst keeping in mind how we can evolve the design over time.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and communicate the reasoning behind each of your design decisions.
