As a **Design Manager at Kingston Building**, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our projects. **Some of your key responsibilities will include**:

- Managing and coordinating the documentation process with external consultants and certifiers.
- Building strong relationships with consultants and specialist D&C subcontractors.
- Identifying design opportunities and effectively managing associated risks.
- Ensuring buildability, cost-effectiveness, and a high standard of finish in every project.
- Providing assistance to the construction team during the construction phase, resolving any design queries that may arise.
- Overseeing and managing client interactions throughout the design and construction process.

**To be considered for the position of Design Manager, you will require the following**:

- A Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience working for a head contractor, demonstrating your understanding of the construction industry.
- A high level of expertise in dealing with Class 2, 3, and 9c Buildings, with an in-depth knowledge of relevant Australian Construction Laws and Standards, including the **National Construction Code and the Design and Building Practitioners Act.**

**While the above requirements are essential, the following skills are highly regarded**:

- Proven ability to manage stakeholder expectations and excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
- Thriving under pressure and delivering results within tight deadlines while maintaining impeccable attention to detail.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
