**The Opportunity**

Due to an internal promotion, Our Lysaght business is looking for an **Operations Manager** to join the Production Team based in **Cardiff.**Made in Australia since 1921, Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes, to large commercial and industrial projects.

Responsibilities and tasks are varied and will involve day-to-day people management, operational management, continuous improvement and change management. Reporting to the Branch Manager the Operations Manager will enjoy ongoing support to drive productivity, efficiency and safety.

**What Will You Do?**

You will:

- lead and guide cross-functional teams across production, maintenance, warehouse & dispatch, sustainability, and safety to achieve and surpass KPIs and productivity targets.
- drive operational excellence by mentoring leadership, spearheading change initiatives, and fostering a high-performance, continuous improvement culture.
- design, implement, and maintain operational systems and training programs to ensure workforce structures and planning align with business objectives.
- develop and execute strategic improvement plans across all operational areas, backed by clear, measurable KPIs.
