**About the position**

This is a pivotal function for the Trend business that purchases and manages inventory required for production within the Cardiff operation. You will have the responsibility for receiving, ordering and tracking of goods and maintaining the integrity of inventory systems.

In addition, you will:

- Maintain min/max stock levels of consumable parts
- Allocation and systems updating on goods received
- Raise appropriate credits for defected material and parts
- Ensure administration of stock movement in and out is undertaken and maintained
- Contact point in relation to goods receivable and goods outwards
- Schedule goods outwards
- Work with operations to resolve issues with the supply chain
- Maintain a KANBAN system with production lines
- Forklift operation (licence required)

**About you**

We’re looking to leverage your experience and knowledge in a warehousing import distribution and/or manufacturing environment combined with the understanding of and capability in purchasing, supply chain functions, inventory management and warehouse management systems.

In addition, you will bring:

- Experience in an equivalent role
- Background in operations and administration or purchasing
- Supply management or logistics experience
- Ability to execute inventory management plans
- High level of MS Excel skills
- Highest level of customer service
- Ability to negotiate effectively
