**Front Office Manager at Hyatt Centric Melbourne**
Join the heartbeat of Melbourne's hospitality scene at Hyatt Centric Melbourne, where vibrant city energy meets world-class service. We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Front Office Manager to lead our front-of-house operations and inspire a team of 30+ in delivering exceptional guest experiences every day.
Reporting directly to the Director of Rooms, you’ll play a key role in overseeing the Front Desk, Bell Desk, and Guest Services, ensuring every touchpoint reflects the signature Hyatt warmth and attention to detail.
**Some of the responsibilities include**:
- Lead by example, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for every guest and team member.
- Support the development and execution of strategic initiatives aimed at increasing occupancy and revenue.
- Manage daily operations while fostering a positive, collaborative, and high-performance team culture.
- Assist with departmental budgeting, forecasting, and payroll planning
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Play an active role in recruitment, onboarding, and the continuous development of front office colleagues through coaching and mentoring.
**Qualifications**:
**About You**:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Front Office Manager or Assistant Manager in a large-scale hotel, ideally 5-star.
- Proficient in Opera PMS - you know it inside and out.
- Tertiary qualification in Hospitality, Business, or Tourism Management.
- A passionate leader who thrives on mentoring and motivating others.
- Strong communicator with excellent service recovery and conflict resolution skills.
- Calm under pressure, highly organized, and solutions-focused.
- Understanding of revenue and budget management is a strong plus.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays.
