**What’s the role?**
A unique opportunity exists for an experienced Search Specialist to join a high performance marketing team, responsible for the digital activation and optimisation of marketing budgets for News Corp. This role allows you to combine account management and trading skills, planning and buying paid media within our in-house (client-side) team for the nation’s most influential media organisation.
- Optimise and achieve monthly volume targets for unique audiences and digital subscriptions across our publications Engage and convert off-platform digital audiences through search and programmatic media, with supplier partners and affiliates
- Plan, trade and report on performance in this hybrid role, making the most of your search expertise and wider skill-set
- Provide strategic digital media recommendations for always-on and campaign-based activity
- Provide insight and recommendations for the overall audience strategy based on accumulated learnings and changing market trends Seek and recommend new search, programmatic and digital media opportunities to improve performance
- Set up accounts and campaigns across several platforms for search and programmatic activity
**Who are you?**
- An innovative thinker with a test and learn mindset
- Familiar with the digital media landscape, staying at the forefront of digital marketing and changing customer behaviour Comfortable using data-driven approaches to develop targeting, to measure, interpret and optimise results
- Experience in search engine marketing (SEM) with advanced knowledge of bid management is required to maintain and improve both performance and stakeholder communications
- Proven understanding of digital marketing principles and experience in omnichannel campaign delivery (either individually or within a team) Digital media buying experience across additional programmatic (display, social, video) and affiliate marketing will be regarded favourably, especially if with a media agency background
