**Executive Assistant**

We are working with a local government client based in Perth's far South Eastern Suburbs. Seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to join their team for 2 month temp assignment but possibly longer depending on their recruitment and selection process.

Working hours: Monday - Friday - Full Time hours

Pay rate: $42ph - $45ph + Super

Start date: ASAP

Duration: Approx 2 months (possibility to extend)

**The Role**

Some of the key responsibilities across these roles include but are not limited to:

- Provide confidential and high-quality assistance to the CEO, president and other staff
- Working ahead to prepare papers, correspondence and agendas in advance of the CEO's schedule
- Research and coordinate response to Councillor requests and assist in preparation of presentations to Councillors
- Coordinate and facilitate special projects as directed by the CEO.
- Plan and organise meetings and appointments to ensure that the relevant officers and the necessary information are available. Ensure that the diaries remain current. Attend meetings as required.
- Manage very busy Executive diaries and arrange meetings with external and internal stakeholders; ensuring that time is set aside for the executive to meet their work demands
- Providing briefing papers to the executive team in a timely manner
- Preparing board reports and general document preparation
- Liaising with multiple stakeholders across the business

**Experience Required**
- Proven experience in an EA or PA role within local Government is ESSENTIAL
- MUST have board reporting experience/ document preparation
- Experience with high volume diary management for multiple people
- Happy to muck in i.e. set up a meeting room with chairs etc.
- A real people person able to liaise with stakeholders of all levels
- MUST be professionally presented
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and maintain boundaries with a clients and other stakeholders
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy of work
