About the Role

Connectnow (an AGL owned business) is a free moving home service. If you’re moving home - Connectnow helps you find suppliers in your area and arrange services all at once. This service extends to connections for: electricity, gas, internet, phone, pay TV, and much more.

Reporting to the Marketing and Channel Manager, we are looking for an experienced Channel Partnership Manager to play a critical leadership role.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the end-to-end relationship management and performance of 20 panel partners across multiple service verticals including energy, telecommunications, entertainment and home moving services.

You will lead the strategic development and execution of the panel partner strategy ensuring it aligns to business and partner goals. Strong partnership engagement experience is essential.

You will also have many opportunities to work across other internal teams including operations, IT, sales call centre and marketing.

Key accountabilities of this role- Develop and create panel strategy for connectnow - delivering insight and impact.- Responsible for advancing existing partnerships including value generating opportunities by creating and growing existing and new partnerships.- Manage and own all partner contracts/agreement renewals, negotiations and optimising delivery of outcomes.- Continuously review partner performance to ensure value is delivered to connectnow customers, deliver shared value for partners and that key performance metrics are met.- Lead performance review meetings with partners and implement changes to identify opportunities and grow performance.- Work closely with the business and relevant stakeholders to ensure partner operational process, compliance and legal requirements are met and delivered to industry standard.- Work with sales call centre to drive conversion and performance.- Work with partners to channel the flow of partner change requests and works with teams internally to deliver on agreed timeframes and objectives of the change/s.- Scans the external environment and market to identify and recommend new growth opportunities.- Uses available intelligence/research to identify insights and trends in the marketplace including competitor strategies and unmet customer needs etc.

What you’ll bring to the table:
- Strong relationship and stakeholder management capabilities- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to present and influence across all levels of management- Strong numeracy and analytical capability- Outstanding presentation, negotiation and influencing skills that will build strong relationships with stakeholders and business partners- Experience of any one or either of the retail energy and telecommunications markets in a similar role- Effective project management and organisational skills.- Computer literacy skills, e.g., strong skills in the use of MS Office Suite.- Proven selling skills including rapport building, needs analysis, trial closing, objections handling and closing- Proven time management and prioritisation skills and willingness to accept autonomy and responsibility
